VelvetVerse Band
Origins & Formation
VelvetVerse was born in 2024 from friendship and a timeless passion for music. Four friends came together to reconnect with the energy of the studio and the stage, bringing with them decades of experience, stories, and musical influences. Over time, the project evolved, welcoming new voices and growing into a solid, rich, and diverse musical identity.
The Band Members
Carlos Moreira â Drums & Vocals. With nearly 40 years of musical experience, Carlos has been part of several bands, toured extensively across Portugal, and performed internationally. Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with renowned Portuguese artists.
Beto â Lead Guitar & Vocals. Also with a long and rich musical journey, Beto has decades of live performance experience, including major concerts and collaborations with well-known artists.
Lara Ingrid â Vocals & Keyboards. With a musical background in Brazil, Lara brings sensitivity, freshness, and emotional depth to the bandâs sound.
Noia â Bass & Vocals. With formal music training and around 19 years of experience, Noia provides the solid rhythmic and melodic foundation of the band.
Suzy Mendes â Vocals. The newest member of the group, adding a fresh vocal dimension and strengthening the bandâs overall identity.
Style & Influences
VelvetVerse does not limit itself to a single genre. Their music flows across different styles â from Hard Rock to Fado â creating a unique and authentic fusion. Their main influences include iconic bands such as Scorpions, Def Leppard, Boston, AC/DC, and Queen.
Themes & Creative Vision
All songs are original and reflect the personality and emotions of the band members. The lyrics explore a wide range of themes, from love to social reflection, from introspection to the powerful energy of rock â always delivered with authenticity and passion.
Journey & Highlights
Carlos Moreira and Beto, two of the bandâs core members, bring extensive international experience, having performed in countries such as France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain. Both have shared the stage with established artists, building a strong and respected musical background.
Present & Future
Today, VelvetVerse is a studio-based project dedicated to recording and releasing music for digital platforms. Without physical or geographical limitations, their music reaches listeners all over the world.
